Features:
Sensepoint XCD gas alarm is a fixed device installed in areas where
there are flammable, explosive or toxic gases, used to detect the
concentrations of combustible gases, toxic gases and oxygen in the
air. The XCD (meaning "Exceed") gas alarm integrates all the
advantages of gas detection technology and is an updated version of
the widely used fixed gas detector. Its cost performance is far
superior to any existing similar products.
The core components of the Sensepoint XCD, such as the sensors,
adopt advanced technologies and the application of non-dispersive
infrared (NDIR) technology, making the detection more accurate and
providing better long-term stability. The XCD can be equipped with
various sensors, including catalytic combustion, electrochemical
and NDIR, in the same housing, enabling it to detect a wider range
of gases and with more types. Therefore, the XCD is widely
applicable in general industrial fields such as petroleum, chemical
industry, metallurgy, and manufacturing, and also performs well in
some harsh environments.
The Sensepoint XCD features an automatic status indication
function. The use of the three-color backlight makes it possible to
clearly display its operating status from a distance:
• When there is no alarm and the device is functioning properly,
the backlight is green.
• When a fault occurs, the backlight is yellow.
• When an alarm is triggered, the backlight is red.

Three-wire 4-20mA industrial standard current signal connection
method (Source or Sink option available), which can be connected to
various gas alarm controllers, or PLC, DCS, SCADA and other
systems.
