Features:
Sensirion differential pressure and flow sensors adopt the thermal
measurement principle. Place the controllable heating element at
the center of the pressure stabilizing membrane, and then install
the temperature sensor symmetrically at both ends of the upstream
and downstream of the heating element along the direction of liquid
flow. The liquid flowing through the film causes heat to be
transferred to the downstream temperature sensor, generating a
temperature difference and thus forming a measurable and precise
signal. The pressure-stabilizing glass passivation film is
installed onto the silicon chip by etching to integrate the
micro-thermal flow sensor.
Compared with traditional piezoresistive film sensors, CMOSens gas
flow sensors have more advantages in low-speed flow and
differential pressure sensitivity, deviation drift and lag,
position sensitivity, shock resistance and temperature fluctuation,
and support bidirectional measurement.
The chip contains a temperature sensor whose signal can compensate
for any possible temperature influence without the need to install
additional calibration sensors. Therefore, Sensirion's technical
solutions not only save space but also offer extremely high
cost-effectiveness. In addition, a digital processing circuit and a
storage unit are integrated on the digital chip for storing
correction data. All Sensirion sensors are individually calibrated
during the production process to ensure that the signals are always
fully calibrated, linearized and temperature-compensated.
